The use of interpersonal communication can present many challenges as freedom of expression, press freedom, the safety of journalists, media pluralism,[1] and the spread of hate speech.[2] Access to the means of information and communication is not universal, which highlights economic and social inequalities. Furthermore, the dissemination of information carries the risk of misinformation and disinformation.[3]
