Comprehensive Assessment of Assigned Articles

[edit]

The Sleeping Beauty (Ballet)

The audience of this article may include dancers, choreographers, or ballet enthusiasts, along with those interested in Tchaikovsky’s works or children’s literature. The purpose of this article is to inform readers of general information about the Sleeping Beauty ballet. This article fits its purpose by including a history and synopsis of the ballet. It can be a great article by working on its overall content format and organization so that audiences have greater ease in navigating the article. It has a very similar structure compared to other articles of Tchaikovsky’s ballets, but the other articles are not rated very highly either. In this article specifically, some things I will be working on is making a single section for Roles to reduce redundancy, removing excessive/interruptive overlinking, and analyzing what best to do with the lengthy information below the Structure section.

Absurdity

The audience of this article includes, but is not limited to, linguists, anyone looking up the term absurdity, those looking for the history of the word, or someone looking for how absurdity is used in different contexts. The purpose of this article is to inform about the history and uses of the term absurdity. It fits this purpose because it has all the necessary content and information listed, although it is still disorganized. It can be a great article if the tone is adjusted and the content is reorganized. This article encompasses a range of topics, like philosophy and law. Thus, in comparison to other similar articles across these topics, it contains sufficient content, but it is lacking in other areas. Some things that I will be working on in this article is organization, fixing lengthy sentence structure in various areas, relocating what information belongs in which sections, tone/grammar, and possibly creating a new section for Absurdity in Literature.
