Elias Khalil was born in Sherpur District under the division of Dhaka.

He is presently working as a Co-ordinator & Lecturer in Department of Textile Engineering at World University of Bangladesh (WUB). Previously, Mr. Khalil worked in a renowned Textile industry and an Engineering Institute.
