ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, your edits are the oldest edits on that page's history so I'm assuming you've made the article, and even if you haven't, you seem(ed) very invested in it due to your numerous edits to it. I've been editing and cutting multiple parts of that article that have been poorly cited or outright misattributed to the citation it's tied to (like 20% of citations are from Nancy Kobrin who's authenticity I doubt). I'm worried I may have been deleting too much information that may actually be true but has just been poorly sourced (which is why I've been very meticulous using the talk pages), but, at the same time a lot of the information that's claimed also goes against the knowledge I hold about Somalia's and Somaliland's history along with multiple books I have never talking about these events (eg, expulsion of Yemeni jew).

Could if you have good sources for the articles or think you can generally assist with it I'd be very happy. Thank you for your time even if you don't assist. 92.236.211.53 (talk) 15:22, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
