Emily Loeb
UX Design Lead and Researcher
About me
I have been practicing UX design and research for over a decade in the US, Australia and Japan. Alongside a wide variety of collaborators from big names such as Mitsubishi Corporation, Qantas Airways, Google, and more, I have experience shipping many successful, user-centric products and services.
Recently, I have worked with leading Japanese brands such as Fast Retailing (Uniqlo) build a stronger understanding of their customers, and uncover opportunities in the Japanese market for global companies and startups in the high-tech and pharmaceutical sectors.
Pairing my deep understanding of Japanese culture and way of thinking with her western upbringing, I understand how to translate the needs and opportunity space of the Japanese market for companies around the world to easily find the right market fit for their products and services. I am passionate about using my research and design skills to help others.
