Bigo is an excavation site located in the western part of Uganda, Africa, along the Katonga River. [1]. It is known as an earthwork site created by the Chwezi people.[2]

Excavation History[edit]

Bigo has been excavated since 1909. Known as a Post-Paleolithic site, it has been investigated by the Uganda Government to help show more evidence of the Prehistoric Iron Age[3].
