I practiced family medicine for just short of 25 years, left practice at the top of my game, but wanted to continue to use the medical knowledge I had built up over time. After leaving practice, I went on to Library School at SJSU and received my MLIS degree. I worked at USC Norris Medical Library for 3 years and am now working at UCSF Medical Library as an education and reference librarian. I am most interested in clinical librarianship and Evidence-Based Medicine.

When I am not doing any of the above, I like bicycles and riding them, doing almost anything that is outdoors, and natural history. Right now I have become obsessed with Harry Dresden, and Battlestar Galactica (the show from 2003). Well I have moved on from that and now in 2015 I am looking for a good book and am enjoying Sleepy Hollow. Just finished the Spin Cycle.
