Franco Fagioli (born in 1981 in San Miguel de Tucumán) is an Argentinian counter-tenor opera singer. His name is not very well-known, despite his collaborations with musicians such as Rinaldo Alessandrini, Alan Curtis, Gabriel Garrido, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, René Jacobs, Konrad Junghänel, Marc Minkowski, Riccardo Muti, Christophe Rousset and even Cecilia Bartoli.
Biography
[edit]Franco Fagioli studied at the Art Institute of the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. In 2003 he won the Bertelsmann singing competition "Neue Stimmen"[1]. In 2011, Franco Fagioli was awarded the Abbiati Prize in the category "best male singer of the year".
