Ryan Smith (born on October 6, 1980) is a Canadian professional skateboarder born in Vernon, British Columbia. His stance is regular.
He first rode for Powell Peralta and Zero Skateboards before going pro in 2003 for Mystery Skateboards at the age of 23. Smith was sponsored by DC Shoes until 2010 and now currently rides for VOX Footwear. His other sponsors include Independent Truck Company, CCS, and Spitfire. Smith was also featured as one of the skateboarders on three EA Skate video games.
Smith suffered a traumatic motorcycle accident in 2007 severely injuring his leg and arm confining him to bed rest and months of physical therapy before getting back on the board.
