Most of what I do on Wikipedia is in the area of reverting vandalism and spellchecking, and have recently joined the welcoming commitee, though I do occasionally do some article-writing of my own. I'm also learning about the notability guidelines and criteria for deletion because I want to be more involved in the cleanup areas of Wikipedia. If you happen to have helpful links regarding those policies, please feel free to add them to my toolbox below!
I also love everything about barnstars. I feel that it is very positive for the community to reward all kinds of positive contributions to the encyclopedia. Therefore, I give them out liberally. I won't be mad if you decide that you don't want to keep it!
Similarly, I know that from time to time I have made mistakes on Wikipedia -- reverting some non-vandalism by accident when trying to get rid of vandalism, forgetting to write an edit summary, or deleting information that shouldn't have been deleted. I assure you that I make all my edits in good faith. If something that I've done looks weird or incorrect to you, please talk to me about it! I promise that I'm friendly and will not take your questions or comments the wrong way.
I decided to remove a good amount of personal information from this page and also took a long Wikibreak due to some issues offline that made me feel that I should be keeping a lower profile, considering I use this username everywhere. However I can confidently say that I'm back and pleased to be!
I edit Wikipedia using Mozilla Firefox on my MacBook, usually from home but occasionally from school or work.
I'm a big linguaphile, if that has not become clear already. In addition to French and Spanish, I also have a very elementary knowledge of Esperanto which I hope to work more on when I'm not in college and working full-time. Somewhat related is my love of American Sign Language. I've only taken two semesters of the class and am at a plateau because I cannot find another local class, but I would love to be more involved. Though I am not Deaf, ASL is one of the most beautiful and interesting things that I have ever studied.
