Fair1

I am a newbie (Sept 2010), and I request all to pardon any gaffes I may make unintentionally. My expertise lies in the fields of science, engineering, philosophy, evolutionary biology, and mythology.

As my Username indicates, my intention is to try and be as fair and objective in my comments as possible. I have no axe to grind, and do not belong to any faction. My sole interest is to help make Wikipedia an authoritative reference for us all.

Over the past several years, I have been more and more disconcerted by the drop in quality of Wikipedia articles in many areas. There is an obvious lessening in objectivity and a decrease in the number of citations. Many articles have apparently been written in a hurry, and could use some editing to improve the language and bring cosmetics in line with Wikipedia standards. It is obvious that they need work, and I decided to pitch in with editing and discussion, as my personal contribution to Wikipedia.

I would like to thank all contributors, editors and other supporters of Wikipedia who have helped make Wikipedia such a valued resource for me and everyone I know.
