Fanka Frans Mashiane • 1973 On the 22 April was born at Ga- Mphahlele, Bolatjane, at Sekutupu (Groothoek, Zebediela), the former Homeland of Lebowa. My parents – Late mother Rosina Ramatsimele Mashiane & Mokwene Johannes Mashiane • 1981 Started schooling, at Bolopa Primary school residing at Bolatjane with my parents. We periodically visited our father who was working at Zebediela Citrus fruit. • 1982 Moved to Hweleshaneng- bolopa to stay with grandfather and Grandmother whom were the chief of that area, my uncles were working and I have to be the shepherd of the goat and donkey flocks • 1983 Attend for the first time April Easter pilgrimage of Zion Christian Church • 1984 • 1985 • 1986 Led the schooling strike at school against oppression • 1987 Founding member of the village drama group at Hweleshaneng with the late Frederick Mokete Mohlatlole, the group which was entertaining people in the village, also writing poems • 1988 Selected among the village boy to compete in the district under 16 soccer tournaments, with my prolific scoring skills I helped the team to reach semi finals • 1989 Baptised at Podungwane Zion Christian Church to be the member of the congregation • 1990 Suffered terrible disease, Stroke and half death, admitted for three weeks in hospital at Groothoek Hospital • 1991 Recovered from a terrible disease and continue with my normal studies, and came strong and eager to perform better • 1992 Matriculated at J.K Tabane senior Secondary School • 1993 Left Zion Christin Church Started first employment with Sasol Synthetic fuel as the safety Watcher- Secunda • 1994 My late mother confided to me and gave me the blessing to be the pillar of strength to her family, and that even when she has passed away I must take care of everyone, in terms of guidance and basic life support. • 1995 • 1996 • 1997 • 1998 • 1999 Appointed as the process controller Gr2 at Sasol synfuels- secunda, Promoted to Process Controller Gr2 • 2000 Paid lobola to the Zwane family for my fiancé, Ntombifuthi Pearl Zwane, the first daughter of Simon and Lulama Zwane at Dennilton • 2001 Blessed with a baby daughter on the 06 January, Itumeleng Hope Mashiane, another name ngwalengwe, born at Edenvale Hospital (Gauteng Province) My mother Rosina Ramatsimele Mashiane passed away • 2002 Appointed as the senior Process Controller at Sasol Synfuels- Secunda and same year started acting as Team leader • 2003 Enrolled short courses with Technical of south Africa in plant operations • 2004 Enrolled courses or modules in UNISA (university of South Africa studying towards BCOM in Human Resources Management • 2005 Joined Manganese Metal Company as the shift Supervisor- Nelspruit • 2006 Joined Sonae Novobord as the shift production coordinator at White River My second born, my son Hlabirwa Emmanuel Hlabirwa was born on the 22 August, At Bronkhorstspruit hospital (Gauteng Province) • 2007 My brother Charles Konketso Mashiane passed away after long illness Wedding ceremony, Traditional due to mourning of the death of my brother Charles Mashiane • 2008 Studied first line management courses with TSEBO group while working at Sonae Novobord • 2009 Joined PG Bison board plant in UGIE as the shift production team leader, and after six months promoted to production coordinator • 2010 Nominated to be the EE Officer/ Chairman of the employment Equity Forum at UGIE Board plant • 2011 Reincarcerated into Zion Christian Church and baptised at Moria, Kwenane River • 2012 Work tirelessly with Sub branch committee members of Zion Christian church to implement the church systems • 2013 Appointed to be on the local branch committee of Zion Christian Church at Elliot FK 26 Studied Management Development Program with DYNA group • 2014 Appointed as the secretary of the development committee of the church, local branch of Zion Christian Church, Elliot. Appointed as the Chairman of the regional or cluster Sunday school committee, of Western cluster 2 and spearheaded the staging the first Sunday school festival at UGIE Zion Christian Church • 2015 Appointed on the Sunday school district executive committee of Mthatha FK! Zion christan Church Nominated with 25 students to attend international Leadership program by FP&M seta Achieved SEAMPI from Massachusetts institute of technology, United States of America Achieved post graduate diploma in business Management • 2016 Relinquished the position of Sunday school chairman due to job commitments at work Appointed Production Manager designate for UGIE board plant • 2017 Helped with the implementation of various small projects in the production line such as wood yard stock tags system . 2018 Helped with the commissioning of Effluent Water treatment & recycling projects
