Common things I like about this encyclopedia is that it enhances articles from reading encyclopedias and makes it more interesting and useful online.
Kneeball
[edit]Kneeball is a sport first played in late 19th century England, invented to associate and rival with the world-popular association football, although it is mistaked for a derivative of football. Here is how to play:
First, a kicker kicks the ball onto the oval and the players pick up the ball professionally with their knees instead of feet or hands and can only pass the ball with their elbows or knees. Then, players must outsmart the pucketguard (protector of the pucket, the goal in the game) and hit the ball upwards with their knees and the ball must touch the pucket above. If done correctly, the team that scored will receive a point. If done poorly, it is considered foul and the player who tried to make a pucket must make the point for the other team. The opposing team doesn't have to worry because if you decide to miss the pucket, they will give you any chances to score an own pucket.
Players who don't have possession of the ball can tackle the player with it, but not physically because that is considered foul and the opposing team will be allowed to make a pucket in the opposing ring. Unlike the "trying-to-hit-the-ball-to-the-pucket-and-miss" tactic, if the player who received a penalty misses a pucket score, they will begin all over again.
Gameplay and worldwide popularity
[edit]The sophistication of the sport is simply a variety of popularity (the game is also nicknamed "The World Game").
