I propose starting the WikiProject Narnia to improve all articles related to C. S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia series, and bring them up to good article and, later, featured article status. If you would like to help, please inquire on the talk page and add your name to the proposed project list so that it can be officially started.

General Information[edit]

Goals[edit]

The WikiProject Narnia's ultimate goal is focused on offering Wikipedia readers a comprehensive and informative guide to high-quality Wikipedia articles relating to C. S. Lewis's The Chronicles of Narnia series. In reaching this goal, articles will be classified as good articles, and, eventually, featured articles.

The criteria for good articles:

  • It is well written. The article has compelling prose, and is readily comprehensible to non-specialist readers.
  • It is factually accurate and verifiable. The article is well-referenced with citations to reliable sources as descibed by the verifiability policy. It also follows the no original research policy.
  • It is broad in its coverage, addressing all major aspects of the topic. The articles does not have to be "comprehensive" as required by WP:FAC. It can be a shorter article that gives a broad overview of a large topic.
  • It follows the neutral point of view policy. The article presents, but does not assert, conflicting viewpoints fairly and without bias.
  • It is stable. The article does not change significantly from day to day and is not the subject of ongoing edit wars.
  • It contains images, where possible, to illustrate the topic. Lack of images does not disqualify an article from being a good article.
