GUM Studios is one of New York City's newest production companies that has served and worked with several high profile commercial, music, and fashion Industry clients. The Studio is located in affluent Long Island City, yards away from scenic Gantry plaza state park right along New York's east river. The studio can house shoots with a 10,000 sq ft Shooting Space with 21ft Ceilings (4,500 of that is Column Free - 57' x 74'), the studio as well has a 1900 sq ft Lightroom located in its mezzanine, in addition to a handful of office spaces that can be available for use. GUM is owned by Carrie White, a veteran of the Media Industry, she is also the only woman who independently owns a production studio in the tri-state area. Carrie was able to open the studio with the help of her business/financial advisor Bryan Kane who has helped her with morphing her previous production company Factory into current GUM studios. The studio also owns and manages a production company known as GUM Works, which has published and created content that varies from music videos to interviews with up and coming artists. These projects are overseen by Producer/Director Assal Ghawami who is one of Carrie's partners. The Studio also is in partnership with Yeti NY, a lighting and set equipment company that is owned by Michael Yetter.
