It appeared to be an article about a bit of user-created material, not a genuine update to that game by its publishers, and didn't assert notability. If it is indeed a new game from the publishers of Zoo Tycoon, or user-created material that meets the notability guidelines, I'd be happy to look at the references; I didn't see any in the article itself. Yes, it's an interesting news story, but not directly related to the articles whose talk pages you're adding it to. Those articles are already patrolled by many people, Democrats and Republicans, who make a point of removing biased information. The BBC story doesn't really add anything to the discussion, unless you have evidence that a specific editor is working for the Democratic party. The problem with harsh warnings is that it is a violation of WP:BITE- many of the people making pages don't mean to vandalize, but just don't understand the rules. For example, right now, you're causing some disruption to Wikipedia with inappropriate tags, but you don't mean to be disruptive- you just aren't familiar with the procedures. If I was rude to you, you'd be rude back, but if I politely point out the way we do it here, you'll be glad to learn and soon will be a useful newpages patroller- you're happy, Wikipedia has another wise contributor, everybody wins, and we all dance happily off into the sunset like at the conclusion of The Seventh Seal. -FisherQueen (Talk) —The preceding signed but undated comment was added at 21:44:38, August 19, 2007 (UTC).

Cool. As I mentioned on his/her talk page, it's a mix of barefoot fetish pushing and category alphabetization, as well as adding and deleting categories appropriately (in my mind). There's a minority of body text edits as well, but a lot of them are to place a spurious emphasis on the barefoot nature of running away from a threat (creepy!) I'll aim for SSP from now on. To explain about my {{db-spam}} "nomination" earlier today, it was only for the talk page itself, to delete the edit where the anon IP had added a classified advert. Since that was the first edit to the page I was unable to revert, and I have a personal dislike of mere blanking. I wasn't aware of any specific prohibition of CSD tags on talk pages, but it didn't seem like a counter-intuitive or illogical action, hence I gave it a try.

He's a minor league baseball player who has not played in the majors. Being drafted by an MLB team does not establish notability. Playing for the big club does, and he hasn't done that yet. The speedy should stand. Please familiarize yourself with the section on athletes in WP notability guidelines.

You are wrong about baseball. It is not the top level of professional baseball, which is the criterion. I might add that this criterion has been upheld countless times on Wikipedia. Fair enough changing this to prod, but how does, as you put it, a "multination Tour" make them more notable, they only played in clubs, which isn't hard to sort out, and it isn't difficult to get in a car or on a plane and fly to another country--Jac16888 11:33, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
I think it'll probably be deleted, in the end. But WP:MUSIC says that one claim to notability is, "Has gone on an international concert tour, or a national concert tour in at least one sovereign country, reported in reliable sources." So assertion that they've been on an international concert tour means that there is in fact an assertion of notability. That doesn't make them actually notable; it just means we give them a chance to come up with the reliable sources to prove it.
