Al-Manshiyya (Arabic: المنشية) was a neighborhood in Jaffa prior to the its demolition during the 1948 Palestine War. The only standing structure now is the Hassan Bek Mosque, with the rest of the neighborhood turned into a promenade. Al-Manshiyya was located in the northern part of Jaffa (south of Tel Aviv). It was first founded by Egyptian soldiers who acompanied Ibrahim Pasha in his conquest of Palestine in 1831[1]. 57°18′22″N 4°27′32″W / 57.30611°N 4.45889°W / 57.30611; -4.45889
