William Willians Willans (died in 1905)[1]


W W Willans was appointed as official Assignee for the Relief of Insolvent Debtors in 1848.[2] He was a Coroner at Singapore from 15 September 1849 to 1855.[3][4] He was appointed to be the Assistant to the Resident Councillor and Police Magistrate of Malacca on 11 November 1856.[5] He was appointed to be the Commissioner of the Court of Requests and Coroner and member of the Municipal Committee at Malacca on 21 November 1856.[6] He was the Acting Colonial Secretary of Straits Settlements in 1875. He was the Colonial Treasurer of Straits Settlements from 1867 to 1883.[7][8]
