A while ago User:Sarenne was banned for disruptive edits regarding something called "binary prefixes". Please check the archive of the non-blanked page.

Recently these two IP addresses appeared editing the same articles and making the same kinds of edits regarding binary prefixes, the edits are single purpose to add those changes back again contray to WP:MOSNUM. User talk:217.87.98.171 User talk:217.87.99.127 This anonymous user then made attacks and bad faith untrue accusations of sockpuppetry (and other untrue accusations and insults) quite early on when his changes were reverted inline with WP:MOSNUM. In short the IPs were also used to make attacks against editors who had previously reported Sarenne's sock puppets.

The edit and comment style is sufficiently similar to Sarenne to cause User:Wgungfu and I to conclude the user is Sarenne using IP addresses again.

Then follows is an admission by the IP user that "You're not going to ban me this way because it's child's play to circumvent such a silly ban". It is worth noting at this point that Sarenne was banned for using Tor open proxies.

Eventually the IP user created an account name User talk:NotSarenne.

Now NotSarenne is adding bogus warnings to other editor talk pages.

4th November 2007[edit]

NotSarenne was blocked for sockpuppetry. The user then proceeded to do disruptive multiple attack IP edits via the following sock puppets, which were in turn blocked:

It should be noted that this phenomena also happened after the original Sarenne was blocked.

He also threatened on the Administrator noticeboard responding admin's Kwsn talk page where he actually harassed and berated the admin for taking Fnagton's and Wgungfu's "side".

The user has also been exposing real life names of Wikipedia contributors. The diffs have been deleted but the request to delete them remains here as evidence.

In edit summaries of pages he was doing disruptive edits on, said user proceeded to call user Wgungfu a terrorist, threaten to have him banned, threaten an ak47 and a host of other ridiculousness before several admins finally pulled the plug on him and banned him.

5th November 2007[edit]

Also according to a comment by admin Butseriouslyfolks he "got an email from Sarenne claiming that NotSarenne was not his sock, and that he has only ever edited using the username Sarenne, never from any anon IP" which just goes to show that Sarenne and NotSarenne are the same.

6th November 2007[edit]

Sarenne creates another account called user:NotFnagaton and uses it to try harass the admin who banned NotSarenne ( Kwsn), and Fnagton.

He's also attempted to contact admin KieferSkunk, stating "I hope you do at least by now realize that you have been abused when you were asked for intervention regarding Talk:MB.", referring to KieferSkunk's earlier involvement in a content dispute on the talk page of MB between notSarenne and Wgungfu. KieferSkunk proceeded to modify NotSarenne's block to keep him from using the email system as well.

The admin Butseriouslyfolks blocked notFnagton as a sock puppet of Sarenne. --Marty Goldberg 03:13, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

These IPs are dynamic IPs from a German ISP and as such may later edits may be from different users not connected with Sarenne.
