George "Fully" Fullwood George "Fully" Fullwood, was born in Kingston Jamaica October 30, 1950. Bass legend and founder of the crucial 1970s Jamaican band, the Soul Syndicate, George Fullwood has shaped the sound of reggae music across the decades. As one of the most popular and well-known bass players in the world he has provided the rhythmic essence for every major reggae artist, including the all-time greats Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, Joe Higgs, Dennis Brown, and Michael Rose.
