Paul McCartney

iamaphoney is a Youtube channel created by Martin "Billy" Heurlin in 2006 out of Denmark. Initially intended to house videos about the Paul is dead rumor, iamaphoney quickly gained steam as it claimed that The Beatles were mutants and that Paul McCartney is a follower and user of Black magic. Heurlin has also created an album known as The Right Album which contained Beatles songs that had been reversed to reveal hidden messages. In 2010, Heurlin teased that a documentary, The RevelAtion, would be released in 2012 that told the truth about Paul McCartney. It was later canceled and postponed to 2023. He did, however, create a documentary called The Winged Beatle, which told he story of the clues that were placed in the Beatles albums to reveal Paul's replacement.

Story

[edit]

1990s–2008: Aspinall Era

[edit]

Iamaphoney was first conceived by The Beatles roadie and personal assistant, Neil Aspinall, after a dream he had about McCartney's supposed death, with the recurring TRA. The name comes from a reversed bit of Hey Jude. He, and others that knew the Beatles, claimed that Apple Records was a secret society built around Paul McCartney as a god after reading Aleister Crowley's book The Book of the Law. Aspinall wanted to reveal the truth about McCartney and the Beatles by making several documentaries and albums to reveal his secret. Aspinall soon recruited Martin Heurlin, a Danish singer-songwriter, to create a plan for revealing said secret. In 2006, Heurlin created a Youtube channel called iamaphoney and started the series "The Rotten Apple". The series, in the beginning, documented several clues to McCartney's death and replacement.[1] Many of the videos contained cryptic hints as to what the meanings to all of the clues ment, however, leaving the answer up to the audience's interpretation. Very little attention was given to the new channel. This was to be expected, as Heurlin and Aspinall wanted the secret to be kept until 'The RevelAtion', a theorized date in which McCartney would reveal his secret. In 2007, Heurlin started to backmask Beatles songs and recorded the vocals from the words he heard on the backwards tracks. The first song was called "Grace to Paul", a backmask of "You Never Give Me Your Money". He supposedly found the CODE on the Love album and sent an email to George Martin, the Beatles producer, to no avail.

Paul's Secret

[edit]
Mills, McCartney, and Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin in Moscow (2003).

Heurlin and Aspinall may not have been the only one who new about McCartney's secret. Heather Mills, McCartney's former wife, divorced Paul in 2008 after many rough patches in their relationship. Mills claimed that she had a "box of evidence" that contained information about someone who she loved. Many say that the box contained Paul's secret. Other people who may have known were,

Victor Spinetti

On March 24, 2008, Neil Aspinall died of lung cancer and left the organization to Heurlin. Overrun with emotions, Heurlin boosted production of 'The Rotten Apple" series. He booked interviews with several people who worked with the Beatles, including Emilio Lari, who worked with the Beatles on A Hard Day's Night, and Help!, and Victor Spinetti, who worked the beatles on A Hard Day's Night, Help!, and Magical Mystery Tour. Lari claimed that Paul McCartney "was not a human being" and was "replaced after a car crash". Spinetti claimed that the Beatles told him Paul's secret. Also around this time, Heurlin began hinting at the claim that John Lennon was still alive. He then started to do a "world tour" where he would fill five suitcases with information about Paul's secret. He placed them in Berlin, Los Angeles, the CERN Laboratory near Geneva, and Rome. Only the one in Los Angeles was ever found. Heurlin began appearing in the videos as 'the phoney figure'. Around the time of Neil's death, Heurlin was scheduled to be interviewed by a fellow Youtuber. Those plans were dropped. The channel grew to an enormous extent. More than what Heurlin was expecting. The channel was supposed to be relatively small until The RevelAtion, according to Heurlin. This didn't deter him from setting the date for The RevelAtion to September 11, 2012, 46 years after Paul's fatal accident. He supposedly worked with Paul on the upcoming projects, The Right Album and The RevelAtion.

The Right Album

[edit]

The Right Album was a project using the same backmasking technique used earlier on Heurlin's channel. He chose the tracklisting after recording several songs with Paul. Some songs are still left unreleased.

2011–12: Decline and Delays

[edit]
The London Eye, in which Paul McCartney wanted to change the name to The McCartney Eye.[2]

Around this time, Heurlin was starting to have noticeable issues, legally, mentally, and physically. Some of his videos were being taken down due to copyright violations and mass flaggings. He was also having issues with Paul himself. There seemed to be a conflict of ideas. Paul wanted to continue touring, while Heurlin wanted to go along with The RevelAtion on time. This led to a series of cancellations and delays that shook the community. After releasing The Right Album, he had to make a tough choice. Should he, or should he not post The RevelAtion on time. It seemed almost inevitable that it would be taken down anyway. He ultimately made the decision to postpone The RevelAtion to September 11, 2023.

The Winged Beatle

[edit]

The Winged Beatle is a documentary style video about the supposed clues on the Beatles albums relating to Paul McCartney's death. It also linked the Beatles to Aleister Crowley, Charles Manson, and black magic.

2013–present: Return

[edit]

After The RevelAtion was postponed, Heurling continued to make videos for "The Rotten Apple" series, however, more cryptic than before. He added non-related subjects and sometimes even nonsense. Paul McCartney continued to tour and release albums afterward. Heurlin created a new channel called "Now and Then", a reference to one of his more popular tracks from The Right Album. There, he uploaded several high quality versions of The Winged Beatle film. The RevelAtion is still set to release September 11, 2023.
