Partisan polls

[edit]

Truthfully Gary (May I call you Gary?), I am not sure which polls are partisan and which are nonpartisan. The other editors are who first determined which ones should stay, and which ones should go. I know for a fact that the Greenberg Quinlan Rosner poll that was removed recently was partisan because it says directly on their website they are all about helping Democrats succeed. The Reason-Rupe poll was actually carried out by ORC, which does CNN polls, so that could be considered non-partisan. The GarinHartYang poll is also partisan due to the statement on its website; "The Garin-Hart-Yang Research Group, the political division of Peter D. Hart Research Associates, is one of the most respected and successful political polling firms in the country for Democratic candidates.". WeAskAmerica IS owned by an Illinois manufacturer, but its website does not specifically state it should only be used by Republicans. I hope this explains everything.
