The grammar of the Dothraki language was created for the HBO television series Game of Thrones by David J. Peterson

Nouns[edit]

Dothraki has two genders: animate and inanimate

Verbs[edit]

There are two types of verb in dothraki: one whose stem ends in a vowel, one whose stem ends in a consonant. Dothraki conjugates for tense, person, and polarity

The present tense is

The future tense is formed by affixing a- to it

The past tense does not conjugate for person
