Evan Weir (born 16 April 2002) is an Irish professional footballer who plays for Drogheda United, on loan from English club Walsall, as a defender.[1]
Club career[edit]
Weir spent his early career with UCD and Maynooth University Town,before signing for Drogheda United for the 2022 season.[2][3][4][5] He combined his playing career with his job as an electrician.[6]
He signed for English club Walsall with effect from January 2024, returning on loan to Drogheda.[7][8][9]
International career[edit]
Weir spent time at Ireland under-21 training camps, before receiving a call-up to the squad in October 2023.[10]
