Accident Advice Helpline (AAH) is a claims management company located in Stanmore, Middlesex, Greater London. They specialise in providing both information and access to a wide range of personal injury solicitors from different disciplines, under the terms of the conditional fee agreement (CFA), colloquially known as no win no fee in the UK.

The company was founded on 1 June 2000 and was originally based in the West End of London, before moving to Golders Green[1].

Initially, the company workforce was comprised of only 6 people. Today, AAH has over 150 employees. In April 2001 they introduced their first “After the Event” (ATE) insurance policy, known as CCPP (Compensation Claim Protection Plan) along with disbursement funding for their panel solicitors. This meant that their clients no longer had to provide money up front to pay for expenses to pursue their claim for compensation. For the next 3 years, AAH subsequently introduced many other schemes all based on providing ATE insurance coupled with disbursement funding. In 2004 AAH moved away from facilitating funding and ATE for claims, and introduced the AAH Liberty Scheme. This gave the AAH panel of solicitors more freedom to run claims without the constraints of funders and underwriters. Since May 2005 the company has further diversified with the introduction of the AAH "Liberty Rebate" Scheme. Clients are no longer required to enter into funding agreements and insurance will be provided with these arrangements administered by the panel solicitor.

Claims Standards Council[edit]

Accident Advice's managing director, Darren Werth, is the Chairman of the Claims Standards Council, who were set up to regulate the industry.[2]

Esther Rantzen[edit]

The company is endorsed by television personality and self-proclaimed consumer champion Esther Rantzen, who appears on their website and various promotional material, and also features in the AAH television advert.
