User:Girth Summit/Recall

In an answer to a question at my RfA, I said that I would be open to being recalled, so I'm finally getting around to jotting down some notes on methods that I would be open to. Here they are:

1: Any editor whom I trust may tell me that they think I should stand down. I'm not going to name names - I'd like to hope that they already know who they are. If you think I should stand down, tell me why on my talk, or in an e-mail if you'd rather not do it publicly. I'd be open to a discussion about it, and if your concerns can't be addressed in any other way then I'll do it.

2: A thread at AN demonstrates a consensus amongst editors in good standing that I should stand down. It should be allowed to run for a reasonable period of time: two days seems like a reasonable minimum, but if there is ongoing discussion I would expect that to be extended; likewise, I reserve the right to cut it short to save my own blushes if it's obviously snowballing towards a consensus that I should stand down. I'm here because I enjoy it - I have no intention of trying to hang onto the tools by my fingernails if the room is against me.
