Glen Bui Born November 19 1959 in Oakland California... spent his early years performing in the Bay Area. He earned a BA in Music from Cal State. At one time he took lessons from an up and coming guitar player named Joe Satriani while in Berkeley. Glen co-founded Pegasus while living in California, they were signed to Epic Records. He toured and performed for Steppenwolf Productions (Magic Carpet Ride, 2010-2013) and throughout the years performed with several original members of Steppenwolf before it broke up in 1976, many variations of the band playing Steppenwolf’s Greatest Hits evolved. Glen has performed with and backed many famous artists, Eddie Money, Cathy Metea, Lone Heart , Waylon Jennings, Frank Black of Hank Williams Jr and Waylon Jennings, Thunder Ridge, The Blues Trust Fund and HolyCross.

Glen also founded the largest animal welfare organization for canines in 2000. American Canine Foundation (americancaninefoundation.com) the foundation is responsible for taking on many famous court challenges involving dogs, and drafting and changing legislation related to regulation and control of dangerous dogs and animal cruelty.

In 2004 Glen founded USA Karate in Belfair Washington and created the Ryushin Ryu System which now has 13 Black Belts and several schools in Washington.

In 2014 Glen Bui and original Steppenwolf Keyboardist Goldy McJohn re-united to record a new version of Born To Be Wild and to tour. The band can be viewed at magiccarpetrideinc.com
