I am a lecturer at the University of Portsmouth researching phraseology in L2 conversation. I did my bachelors degree in Physics at Queen Mary, University of London, my MA TESOL by distance through the Institute of Education, University of London and my PhD at the University of Liverpool.
I was born and raised in St Helens, Merseyside, and have lived in Stepney, Cambridge and Bedford before moving to South Korea in early 1999. I am interested in physics, linguistics, education, psychology, current affairs and am just starting to get used to wikis and wikipedia.
