"Indian health education has a long history, but it has only after 2009, when MCI asked to create Medical education Unit it has been formally incorporated into Medical College initially and now in other health professional education.

The nation has been encouraging the integration of health education through a professionally educated group of health workers, generally referred to as "Health Educators," who are training other health Professionals in health education through conventional or informal approaches.
