Knee Replacement

General Risks

I would like to get more in depth about the complications involved in knee replacements for obese people. For example, I will talk about the increased risk of blood clots and difficulty identifying one, possible decrease in range of motion pre and post operatively, excess weight on the new joint, and issues with post operative physical therapy.

Deep Vein Thrombosis

The article does not give any description for deep vein thrombosis, or how it plays a role in complicating surgery. I will expand upon this briefly, and also state the increased risk for obese patients.

Post-Operative Rehabilitation

There are many statements in this section lacking citations, and may present false information. I would like to go through this section and restructure the way it is written, and also correctly cite anything necessary.
