Minimalist Footwear: I have reviewed your article on this & found it substantially lacking. First: You did not review the landmark article by Irene Davis: "Stepping Back to Minimal Footwear" in Exercise and Sport Science Review. vol 49, No. 4, pp 228-243, 2021. Second: You missed the concept that cushioned support shoes increase impact & thereby have been the leading cause of overuse injuries. Finally & most importantly: Novice runners stand to benefit the most from minimalist shoes. Further, they do not run the risk of injuries that long term users of cushioned/support shoes face when transitioning. They do not need to transition. I appreciate your nconsideration. Greg Hartman
