From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Greg Hullender is retired after a 35-year career in software development. He has degrees in Computer Science and Linguistics. He speaks seven different languages to one degree or another and blogs about Reading in a Foreign Language. He's interested in how to use technology to beat the "beginner's paradox," which says you can't read in a language until you know 6,000 words, but to learn more than 2,000 words, you have to be able to read.
He and his husband, Eric F. Wong, are co-editors of Rocket Stack Rank, a free, online webzine that promotes the reading of short science fiction.
