Makedonsko Zname (Cyrillic: Македонско Знаме) was a pro-Macedonian left-wing newspaper founded in Sofia and ran by the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization (United) it lasted between 1932 and 1934 when it was banned by the Bulgarian goverment.[2] The newspaper also promoted a independent Macedonia.[3] In October 1945 when the Macedonians in Pirin Macedonia were given more freedom the newspaper was relaunched.[4] But in late 1947 it would be discontinued due to a lack of funds.
