A Businessman: Don is a public relations, graphic design, consumer relationship, marketing communication, and web development professional. Don has owned and operated two businesses since 1997. Businesses include Huffman Communications (http://www.hcnapa.com) and a second business offering Green Web-hosting (hosting where the power source comes from renewable energy) and CMS dynamic application development in 1997 - MediaBend (http://www.mediabend.com).
Don is the moderator for the North American Closure Council consisting of the largest wineries in the world. Don is an expert on closures and his view on the closure industry is that there is a place for every type of closure. They each have attributes different from the other. The NACC works to understand how they interact with the wine, wine chemistry and oxygen already present in the wine and aging of the wine. Gone are the days of only one closure alternative.
