HORI7ON (group)[edit]
HORI7ON (pronounced as horizon) is an all filipino boy group set to debut in South Korea mid year of 2023. They are co-managed by MLD Entertainment and ABS-CBN. composed of 7 members Jeromy, Marcus, Kyler, Vinci, Reyster, Kim and Winston. They won the Idol survival show Dream Maker which is a collaboration between ABS-CBN, MLD Entertainment and KAMP Korea. Out of 62 participants these 7 topped the spot with over 25 Million Public votes on the finale of the said show. [1]On March 10 2023 the 7 winners signed a 7 years contract under MLD Entertainment ABC-CBN corporation in hopes to promote as a GLOBAL POP-GROUP.[2]
Group Name[edit]
HORI7ON was given to the group as there name on the same day the 7 winners were announced. Out of many choices HORI7ON was chosen by the fans via public voting.[3]
Fandom Name[edit]
HORI7ON's fandom name is revealed to be "ANCHOR". Literally the anchor of the ship. ANCHOR, Gives the meaning that the fans will become the compass as the anchors of the boat that is HORI7ON. [4]
Pre-debut era (2023-present)[edit]
HORI7ON released their first ever pre-debut single "DASH" on March 22 2023. It was released on both MLD Entertainment and 1theK Youtube pages respectively garnering millions of views as of writing. [5]
Following the success of DASH, another pre-debut song was released entitled "Salamat" which was dedicated to all the ANCHORS who has been supporting the group since the Dream Maker era. Garnering as well millions of views as of writing.[6]
HORI7ON announced their first ever fan meeting held at New Frontier Theater set to happen April 22 of 2022 which was also the same day they announced the official name of the fandom. The fan meeting was a success after selling out the tickets in less than a week after it was readily available for purchase.[7]
The group went to Korea on 30th of April to continue their training and announced a week after that are going to release another pre-debut song "LOVEY DOVEY but no dates yet for the actual date of release."[8]
The group will have a reality show name 100 days miracles. A show that will document there journey 100 days before their official debut.[9]
