[1] Secondary school[edit]

Kuisebmond Secondary school is situated in Walvis Bay, a place where quality education is offered and sport looked at as a high priority activity for learners. Last year Timoteus Shuulula who was in grade 12 at the moment at the school named above organised asuccessful boxing bonaza with the aim of sharing of skills and knowledge and preparing both junior and sinior upcoming boxers for professional boxing where more than 25 boxers from Erongo region took part. Timoteus also managed to fight two eight round fights with two professional boxers from Swakopmund and really gave great performance. Furthermore, Councillor Uilika Nambahu who is a formal teacher at kuisebmond Secondary school attended the event and encouraged young people to take part because there are lots of benefits they can get from sport like mental fitness. On the other hand, The first Namibian female Paralympics gold medal winer in sport (athletic) Johanna Benson attended her high school at Kuisebmond Secondary School too. This is where she started taking part in athletics competing with her fellow learners with the suport of the school principle and teahers. Benson's coach Tjire Dausab discovered her talent at Kuisebmond Secondary school's athletics events and encouraged her to take part in the Commonwealth Games. Additionaly, Johanna Benson donated N$10 000 to Kuisebmond Secondary School showing appreciation to the school. [3] [Benson’s family over the moon ]
