I am still discovering myself......but here’s what I know by now -

1. y=mx+c describes the straightforward person in me the best. Winners never cheat.

2. My wife, Soma, beileves that I am intelligent and good at maths - I would like to believe so too , even if she’s wrong :-)

3. I love Soma very very much(obviously). No equation can define that.

4. Technology interests me more than anything else. I am quite fond of latest gadgets and wait for even more advanced ones to hit the scene.

5. I am an encyclopedia of Cricket that can even narrate the exact scores of every match played by India after 1983 and for most of the other teams too. T20 doesn’t impress me however. IPL Exasperates me.

6. I wanted to be a rocket scientist but ended up becoming a software project/program manager, perhaps that explains why most of my projects run on fire. I am still in love with science and read scientific stuff extensively.

7. I am a classic example of a Virgo - I display all good and bad Virgo qualities.

8. I have been very impressed with the movies Jo Jeeta wohi Sikandar , Iqbal and Lakshya - I simply adore the attitude worn by the lead characters.

9. I would always be the first person to acknowledge my mistakes and correct them for the future. I notice that few others apprecite this trait though.

10. I know that there are no short cuts to success and no substitute for hard work.

11. I hate the sight or the voice of Himesh Reshamiya from the bottom of my heart. Add Salman Khan to the same category.

12. I perform very well under pressure, but hardly otherwise :-) (need to hide this as my managers see it too)

13. I simply do not have the intellect to appreciate saas-abhu serials and Karan Johar movies.

14. I like reading on scientific topics that scratch few grey cells. No points for guessing my favorite TV channels.

15. I can only act in the 1st or the 5th gear in every aspect of life. The gears in between make me uncomfortable. Soma manages those for me.

16. I am very impressed by Srinivasa Ramanujan and his experiments with numbers and theorems.

17. I would want to live to see the day when we realise that ’’we’’ are not alone in the universe. I strongly believe that we are not.

.....more to be discovered as I evolve!
