Cats are fluffly balls of love. They are carnivourous mammels. [1] Cats have been around for over 4000 years, a steep and surpsing number to many.[2] Once they were valued as hunters, now they are mainly companions. [2] Domestic cats are known as little cats compared to bigger cats. [2] Cats are most popular pet in the UK. [2]

Cat Body[edit]

  • Cats have 30 teeth[2]
  • Cats have a reflective layer in their eyes which magnifies incoming light. [2]
  • Cats have 32 ear muscles. [2]
  • Cats are often left-pawed unlike people. [2]
  • Most cats love catnip though not all. (75%) [2]
  • Cats should not be given cows milk, since they are actually lactose-intolerant. [3]
  • Cats have over 100 vocal sounds. [3]

Cats can be trianed. [2] people that own cats tend to have lower cardio-vascluar deases odds. [2]

Thoguh they are also hunters inside and out. When there is a group of cats they are called a clowder. [4] While kittens are a kindle. [2]In order to get down a tree cats have to back down becasue their claws point up and will not switch to be back claws instead of front. [5] There once was a cat named kitty who birthed over 213 kittens. no infoamtaion on if they all survived or not. [6]
