About me:

My name is Hanna Astner and I am a PhD student at SLU. My research interest lays within the field of entrepreneurship, where I study and develop ideas on how new markets are developed. I am especially interested in new markets for food, in order to support managers and policy makers in their quest for more sustainable solutions. I use qualitative methods in my research, and within my PhD project I have especially been focusing on the grocery bag market in Sweden. As a researcher I have engaged in concepts such as identity, branding, psychological ownership, family business and sustainability. I am also working as a teacher in higher education within marketing, organization theory, environmental management and research methods.
