Larry Vs Harry[edit]
Larry Vs Harry is a bicycle manufacturer in Denmark, founded by Lars Malmborg and Hans Fogh in 2008[1]
Bullitt:[edit]
Larry vs Harry currently produce one model named "The Bullitt". It is an aluminum version of a "Long John" style cargo bike.
Variants[edit]
The Bullitt is available in several variants:
All of the variants are aluminum frames, with a 20" front wheel and a 26" rear wheel. All of the frames are set up for disc brakes, and use a steering arm linkage to transfer motion from the handlebars to the front wheel. All variants are highly customizable, with 10 stock colors and a variety of external and internal gearing choices. [2] The Original and Electrified variants are available as fully-built bikes or as frames.[2]
- The Original / Classic Bullitt[3]
- This is a human-powered frame with no additional method to mount a motor. This was the initial style released in 2008, and has been continually updated since.
- The Electrified Bullitt / eBullitt[4]
- This is an electric version with a modified frame to allow for a mid-mount motor to be used. Initially, electrified bullitts were sold with Bionx rear hub based motors. They currently sell shimano mid-mount motors[5]
- The Bullitt X
- This is a variant where the cargo area is 22 cm longer to account for carrying larger commercial loads. The carrying capacity remains the same at 180kg[6]. This is intended more for commercial use, and no personal use accessories are planned.[6] This was announced in early 2022, with the Original Bullitt X shipping late spring 2022 and the eBullit X shipping late Summer 2022[6]
Frame identification[edit]
Larry vs Harry utilize the Danish bicycle VIN-system to identify their frames. This can be used by owners to quickly find the year of manufacture from the last character of the VIN.
Awards[edit]
The Bullitt won a Red Dot Design Award in 2014[7]
