2001

February 5 Van Passengers 06/05 they were traveling in a van en route from Hazara Town to Alamdar road. Unidentified gunmen opened fire. Later, Lashakar-e-Jhangvi claimed responsibility for the attack[1][2].

2003

June 08 Police Cadets 11/09 Eleven police cadets belonging to Hazara ethnic minority were killed when two assailants opened fire on their vehicle. The attack occurred on Saryab Road and left nine others injured.[3][4]
July 04 Mosque bombing 47/65 Forty-seven were killed in an attack on worshippers during Friday prayers, when three gunmen entered a local mosque, threw grenades and opened fire. 65 people were also injured.[5][6][7]

2004

March 02 Ashura massacre 42/150 Forty-two people were killed and at least 150 injured on the holy day of Ashura, when the faithful were mourning the death of Imam Hussain, Prophet Mohammad's grandson, in the battle of Karbala. After an explosion, the terrorists opened fire on the procession.[8][9]

2009

January 26 Assassination of Hussain Ali Yousafi 01/00 Hussain Ali Yousafi, chairman of the Hazara Democratic Party was gunned down by unidentified assailants in broad daylight. Police have not been able to arrest anyone involved in his assasination.[10]

2010

September 03 Quds Day bombing 73/160 [At least 73 people[11] were killed and 160 injured when a bomb exploded in a Quds Day procession which Shias were carrying out to express solidarity with Palestinians.[12][13]

2011

May 06 Hazara Town shooting 08/15 Eight died and fifteen were wounded in the early morning when armed men fired rockets at Hazara people playing outside in an open field. Children were also among the victims.[14]
August 31 Eid-ul Fitr Bombing 13/22 Thirteen died and twenty-two were wounded when a suicide bomber blew himself up in the morning of Eid near Hazara Eid Gah. Four women and two children were also among the dead.[15]
September 20 Mastung Massacre 29/ A bus carrying Hazara pilgrims was stopped in Mastung near Quetta.[16] Called the Mastung Massacre, armed gunmen entered the bus and after identifying Hazara passengers, pulled them out, lined up and sprayed with bullets in summary execution style. At least twenty six died on the spot. Later that same day, relatives of the victims were on their way to collect the dead bodies and were fired upon by unidentified terrorists, killing three and injuring many more.[17]
September 23 Mach Coal miners 03/02 Five more Shia Hazara were the casualties of yet another attack just three days after the Mastung massacre, when unidentified gunmen opened fire on a van.[18]
October 04 Vegetable vendors 13/ Thirteen Hazara vegetable vendors were among the fourteen victims when unidentified gunmen targeted a van in Quetta.[19][20]

2012

January 26 03/00 Three Hazara men were shot dead. Two of the victims were public servants and the third was a television artist.[21]
March 26 Metal Works Shop 02 Two Hazara men were shot dead on Sabzal Road.[22]
March 27 Coal miners 00/02 Armed terrorists opened fire on a vehicle carrying coal miners near Quetta. Two men were injured.
March 29 Taxi Attack 07/06 A taxi carrying passengers from Hazara Town was sprayed with bullets, which killed seven and injured six.[23][24][25][26] Three women and some children were among the casualties. This had been the third attack on this small community in just one week.[27][28] Two boys under 16 were shot dead by the police as they tried to disperse angry protesters blocking traffic, raising the death toll to nine.[27] People were especially furious that the attack had occurred just 15 meters from the police check post. Police arrested three protesters, including the brother of a dead victim.
April 03 Pharmacy Owners 02/ Two more Hazara were shot dead in Mekongi Road in Quetta on Tuesday, 3 April 2012 They pharmacy owners.[29][30]
April 09 Prince Road Attack 06/ In a cold-blooded attack on Hazara people in Quetta, at least six men, including a 16 year old boy, lost their lives. Gunmen opened fire at shoemakers in a shop on Prince Road in Quetta. A 17 year old student protester was shot dead by the police the next day.
April 12 Shop keepers 03/01 Three Hazara shopkeepers were shot dead in Quetta and one other person was critically injured on Thursday, April 12, 2012.[31]
April 13 Women Shot dead 02/ Two people, including a woman, were shot dead by armed assailants. The victims belonged to the Hazara ethnic minority in Quetta, Pakistan.
April 14 Brewery Road Taxi attack 08/ Eight Hazara men were killed this morning on their way to work when armed assailants opened fire at a taxi carrying them on Brewery Road.[32]
April 16 Tyre Shop Owner 01/00 A Hazara man working in a tyre shop was killed by armed gunmen on Quarry Road in Quetta, raising the death toll to 29 in a week. Another taxi carrying passengers from Hazara was attacked but the victims escaped unhurt.[33]
April 21 Brewery road shooting 02/00 Two Hazaras were shot dead by armed terrorists on Brewery Road in Quetta. The culprits fled the scene.
April 27 Sucide Attacker in Hazara Town 00/00 wo suicide bombers were spotted by local people on a petrol station near Kirani Road. One of the terrorists tried to detonate the explosives packed in a suicide jacket around his waist but failed to do so. In the ensuing shootout, he was killed while his accomplice managed to escape.
