Fairway Medical Center first opened in October 2000 in Covington, LA, as a multi-specialty ambulatory surgical center owned and operated by 33 local physicians. Expansion of the facility began in 2003 and Fairway Medical was licensed in February 2005 as a fully accredited acute care surgical hospital.
Today, Fairway Medical Surgical Hospital has 21 private suites for patients requiring overnight care, eight operating rooms and four treatment rooms.
