Background[edit]

On 26 July 2013, The Saturdays announced via Twitter the name of their new single would be "Disco Love" and were filming a music video for the single, while also expressing their excitement: ‘Team Sats! We’re having a blast shooting the video for our next single ‘Disco Love’! Can’t wait for you guys to hear it! ‪#SatsDiscoLove’.[1] In August 2013 it was reported that the group performed the single live at the V Festival, without group member Frankie Sandford, who was pregnant at the time and announced on Twitter reasons for her absence: "Hey guys, really sad I won't be there for the next few gigs, as I've been advised not to perform by my doctor until after the baby arrives. But don't worry, I know my other 4 Sats will totally rock it while I'm resting the bump. I'll be back ASAP!"[2] An audio for "Disco Love" was unveiled a day later via the group's VEVO account on Youtube.[3]
