Stockport, UK is one of the boroughs of Manchester, UK. It is famous for its Hat Works and the biggest brick viaduct in the entire world. Stockport has many rivers, including the Goyt and the Mersey, along with Etherow Country Park. Indeed, the Merseyway Shopping Centre was built over the River Mersey. People from Stockport are called Stopfordians, because Stockport used to be called Stopford in the Olden Days. They are more affectionately known as Hatters because of the town's millinary background. The local football team, Stockport County, is also known as the Hatters. The Local Authority in charge of Stockport is Stockport Council

Consequently, there are many places in Stockport where you can drown people. However, if you do this, you may end up in prison.
