H.O.P.E aka HOPEMUSIQ, born Diane Tsholofelo Mtakati on the 14th of June 1991. An Independent Recording, Performing Artist/Singer/Songwriter from Jhb, South Africa. H.O.P.E’s music and vocal sound is inspired by a blend of Alternative RNB, Soul and Hip-Hop.

‘Celebrate’ was her first single, collaborated with Krosfaderz and was released in June 2012. It was followed by her second single ‘Bad Ass’, released in March 2013. Which was then followed by her third single ‘Not Over’, released in July 2013. H.O.P.E released her first EP/Mixtape, titled ‘Experimental Phase’. Which was then followed by her second musical project ‘Perfect Imperfections’ released on November 13th 2014 for streaming only. While working on new music and other business ventures, she decided to take a music hiatus between 2015 – 2017. She later released a single ‘’Thinking About You’’ in 2018, which is one of the singles off of her long-awaited EP titled ‘’Time’’. The project is rumored to be released in November 2023.

She started singing and performing at a very young age, but at the age of 12yrs old she started to explore the idea of pursuing her dreams to becoming a Music Artist. After graduating high school, she studied at the Campus of Performing Arts in Pretoria, majoring in Vocal Live Performance & Music Production/Sound Technology. Growing up she was exposed and listened to different music genres from Jazz, Rock to Classical pieces. She prefers not to be categorized into a specific genre. Allowing the freedom to just make good music. Her love & passion for music is seen through her abilities to be diverse and tackle different types of genres and express herself with emotion.

H.O.P.E moved to Los Angeles, CA on the 1st April 2013, along with her sister, to pursue and develop her career as an International Artist, also broadening her networks within the Entertainment Industry. She graduated from The Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA majoring in Music Business - Entrepreneur. Which led to the opportunity of her interning for Tuff Gong Worldwide (Ziggy Marley/Marley Estate).
