I am the reincarnation of the guy who wrote this treatise often known as De harmonica institutione, even although I myself had named it merely Musica. I was by no means responsible for these books who dubbed themselves Enchirias, unless that they shamelessly quoted me without saying (the truth is that, at that time, we all did that). French was not yet much spoken in my youth (they had invented it only shortly before my birth), but it eventually became one of my preferred languages; I am afraid I couldn't write fluent Latin anymore; I do read it, though.
I began (september 2013) revising several articles about the theories (and fantasies) of my younger friend and colleague harpist here in Paradise, Heinrich Schenker – he did help me a bit, but his funny Viennese German accent is so weird...
And I think I will do the same with quite a few other articles on music theory: after all, I have some free time now.
