Personal information

[edit]

Wikipedia does not allow people who are not of legal age in their home domicile and the US to post certain persoal information, so I have removed reference to your birthday. If you need more explanation, I'm sure your parents or an older sibling can explain it to you. Thank you. -- Avi (talk) 05:06, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Non Free Files in your User Space

[edit]

Hey there Huckamike, thank you for your contributions! I am a bot alerting you that Non-free files are not allowed in the user or talk-space. I removed some files that I found on User:Huckamike. In the future, please refrain from adding fair-use files to your user-space drafts or your talk page.

  • See a log of files removed today here.

Non-free files

[edit]

As stated 2 sections above this one, non-free files should only be used in articles. I've removed the Michael Jackson picture from your user page.--Rockfang (talk) 15:50, 2 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • And I've removed 3 more files that you've added since the last warning. Huckamike, our policy at WP:NFCC #9 strictly prevents the use of non-free images on your userpages. You've been pointed to this policy before. Are you not understanding something? Or, are you just willfully violating the policy? If you continue to add non-free content to your userpage, your editing privileges will be suspended until such time as you agree to stop doing so. If you don't understand something, ask. If you just keep adding such images, the outcome will not be in your favor. --Hammersoft (talk) 20:43, 3 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And yet again you place non-free images on your userpage with this edit and this edit. Look at the description pages for File:Tsar photo11.jpg and File:Sicko British National Health Service.jpg. See where it has this symbol on them?
and
See the red "C"? That means it's copyrighted. That means you CAN'T use it on your userpage. Read WP:NFCC #9. It says "Non-free content is allowed only in articles (not disambiguation pages), and only in article namespace, subject to exemptions. " (and userpages are not an exception). This means you can't place this content on your userpage, no matter how much you want it there, no matter how stupid you think the policy is. You can't do it. Ever.

You have two choices before you. You can (a) abide by our policies and stop placing non-free content on your userpage or (b) place non-free content on your userpage again, in which case I will recommend you be indefinitely blocked until you agree to stop violating our policies. Your choice. --Hammersoft (talk) 13:58, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reported to WP:AN/I

[edit]

A thread requesting you be indefinitely blocked for placing non-free content on your userpage has been started on WP:AN/I at Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#User:Huckamike_and_non-free_images. --Hammersoft (talk) 15:52, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Because, despite repeated advice and warnings, you have continued to place non-free images on your user page, I have redirected your user page to this talk page and protected it from editing. When you indicate that you will respect Wikipedia's free content mission and relevant policies, the redirection and protection can be reversed by an administrator. You can place the {{adminhelp}} template on this page to easily get the attention of an administrator if you wish to. CIreland (talk) 16:20, 29 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A Plead

[edit]

I promise to not add another Non-Free Image. I did not diliberatly put them on, I just forgot to check. I will check every time, and would like to continue to edit wikipedia, and beg your mercy. I think I've done well, and would love a second chance. -User:Huckamike

I have unprotected your user page. CIreland (talk) 10:18, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

THANK YOU

I have nominated Governorship of Ronald Reagan, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Governorship of Ronald Reagan. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Userpages

[edit]

Creating pages like User:!!! and User:Awesomest Person EVER is not appropriate, this, Savior of Wikipedia, is even more inappropriate. Don't do it again. In addition, please stop editing your userpage so much. It is not your facebook/myspace/blog/webhost, see WP:UP#NOT. It would be more acceptable if you spent more time editing articles, but when 80% of all your edits are to your userpage it becomes more of an issue, even more so when you've already been reprimanded over your userpage once already. Just something for you to think about --Jac16888Talk 00:44, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ok, I've had enough. This is an encyclopedia not your own personal webhost, as I said before if you were editing properly more it might be ok but you're clearly not. Therefore I've redirected your userpage to here and protected it for the time being, until you can show you can contribute properly to the project--Jac16888Talk 23:46, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of "Barry Buzza"

[edit]

A page you created, Barry Buzza, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. Jusdafax 23:34, 26 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to User talk:Jac16888, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. An article that you have been involved in editing, List of battles by casualties, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of battles by casualties. Thank you.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Rubikonchik (talk) 11:15, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Barry Buzza requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ttonyb (talk) 04:09, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

January 2011

[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Barry Buzza. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. ttonyb (talk) 04:15, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
