Mission Statement[edit]
The Center for Chemical Addictions Treatment saves lives and rebuilds families by providing tools for lifelong sobriety and recovery thereby reducing costs to our community caused by untreated chemical addictions.

History[edit]
1970 - Center for Comprehensive Alcoholism Treatment was founded to provide services to chemically dependant adults
1975 - CCAT detoxification center received accreditation by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals
1981 - CCAT merged with the Cincinnati Alcoholism Rehabilitation Enterprises (CARE, Inc.) and moved into the former nunnery (on Ezzard Charles Drive) of the since-demolished St. Mary's Hospital
1988 - CCAT accepted as a United Way agency, partnering with the United Way of Greater Cincinnati
1994 - CCAT changed its name to the Center for Chemical Addictions Treatment to reflect the change in the types of services provided
2000 - Moved into a new space on Ezzard Charles Dr.
