I am a physicist with research interests in material sciences, nanotechnology and physical chemistry. My particular resarch area is the study of wetting phenomena, particularly wetting properties of surfaces.

I am currently working in a university position for the development of a novel method for wetting characterization of surfaces. I am currently investigating whether the discovery is sufficiently notable to either warrant its own article, or mention in other relevant articles. The new methodology is potentially subject to commercial, financial interests in the future, and may benefit me as a hired research employee, although working in the capacity of an academic researcher I am currently in no position of direct financial benefit from the commercialization. Exposure of the technique will however provide academic benefits for me. This poses a potential conflict of interest (CoI) that I want to disclose openly. In accordance to the Wikipedia policies, I will not edit the articles in question directly, but refrain to suggesting changes via the Talk pages. The possible novel article on the topic will be submitted for community consideration via the Articles for Creation process.
