Rilès[edit]

Rilès Kacimi (born January 7, 1996) is 21 years old french rapper, singer, producer and songwriter.

He started his career in 2009 by posting covers on Youtube. In September 2016, Rilès decided to

delete all his posts for a new beginning and posted a new debut single named “OHMAMA”.

This song will be the first of 52 singles posted weekly on his Youtube channel.

He refused to join several record companies and still produce his music alone

in his Rouen studio thanks to his knowledge in

writing, mixing, mastering and video-editing.

Biography[edit]

Rilès was born in Rouen, France where he obtained his scientific baccalaureate with the highest honors and then received a scolarship he used to buy recording material and is actually studying english and phonetic at Rouen University. In May 2017, Rilès was involved in a double car accident and went out of the Hospital few days later because of minor injuries and did not forget to post the weekly song on Youtube to reach 734,000 subscribers and some 115,000,000 views in September 2017.

Influences[edit]

Rilès have been influenced most by american artists such as Kanye West, Kendrick Lammar, Pusha T, The Weeknd or Justin Timberlake but also by styles as Kabyle sound and Capoiera which he practiced for 3 years.
